Payphone Ordering
Many times the field technician will determine signage is needed when visiting a payphone. By calling into the Smart Call system and by identifying the location information, the automated Smart Call system will quickly prompt for the following:
- Please enter account ID and PIN
- Press 1 for top signage
- Press 2 for lower signage
- Press 3 for upper and lower
The system will also ask:
- Press 1 to keep the current settings (This selection ends call) or
- press 2 to change the current settings (Current settings include; local calling rate and minutes, USA LD calling rate and minutes, and International or Mexico calling rate and minutes)
If the complete information is not on file or a change is requested (option 2 on previous menu) the system will proceed to ask:
- Enter as a 2 digit number local calling rate
- Enter as a one or two digit number the local minutes
- Press 1 for an anywhere in the USA option or 2 to continue
- Enter as a 2 or 3 digit number the LD cost anywhere in the USA
- Enter as a one or two digit number anywhere in the USA minutes
- Press 1 for an international option, 2 for a Mexico option, or 3 to continue
- Enter as a 2 or 3 digit number the International/Mexico cost
- Enter as a 1 or 2 digit number the international/Mexico minutes
This information will be stored for the fast and efficient ordering in the future.
Phone Ordering
The same options of ordering ID cards from a payphone will be available from any phone. The Smart Call system will ask for the ANI and determine if all information is available from that location or not.
THE SMART CALL SYSTEM USES CALLER ID TO LOCATE ALL SITE DATA AND DETERMINES IF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO PROCESS THE ORDER OR ALLOW CHANGES TO THE DATA.
